If You Can Grab It, It’s Yours!

For over a year, I have waited to share some really fun and wild information:

I will be competing on Season 4 of Next Level Chef!

An entirely new season with Gordon, Nyesha and Richard, with new teams, challenges and surprises is coming to your screens, starting February 13th on Fox, and airing on Hulu the following day after each episode!

This season was truly filled with so many twists, turns, surprises and disappointments for me.

Though I won’t go into details about anything before it happens, it’s important to know that I will be recapping every episode that I am on, with a dedicated video breaking down what I made (or what I would’ve prepared) and talk you through the entire process.

This was truly one of the most incredible experiences of my life and I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

I walked away with nearly 30 new friends – which in your late 30s is a blessing in itself – and also came off the show with more confidence in myself than I had going into it.

So mark your calendars, turn on your alerts and remember to grab some popcorn because from episode 1 onward, it’s a full-tilt sprint.

Airs February 13th, 2025 on Fox (following day on Hulu)

If you’re unfamiliar with Next Level Chef, the concept is honestly one of my all-time favorites for a competition cooking series!

24 people are brought together to compete against each other for a chance to win $250,000 and a 1-year mentorship that is split between each mentor! So, for four months, you’ll work with Gordon to hone your craft and learn about building a brand. For four months, Nyesha will build you into a stronger chef and will take you on her pop-up events. For four months, Blais will be the Big Brother he is and encourage you, pick you up and share how to build a business empire, like he’s done.

The contest is divided between three teams, three different categories (Professional Chefs, Social Chefs and Home Chefs) and three different levels:
The Top Level Kitchen – This is the most state of the art kitchen, offering every tool, toy or gadget you could ever want to play with, along with the best options for food to work with.
The Middle Level Kitchen – This has everything you need, and nothing more, like what you’d find in almost any kitchen in the workforce.
The Basement Level Kitchen – This, lovingly dubbed The Blaisment, is honestly Hell. You’re working with broken tools, minimal burners and the worst possible options from the grab, so you have to be creative and find ways to elevate your way out of that level!

My favorite part is that this game is fair and difficult for all.
You can have experience working in Michelin-starred kitchens and still lose to a mother of 2 that makes lasagna every week, if your timing is off or you forget an element on your dish!
You can be in the top kitchen today and tomorrow you’re in the basement kitchen, having to crawl your way back out because a team member didn’t perform their best!

There are so many reasons why this show works for me, so being a part of it is still kinda surreal.

I am nervous, dizzy and excited at the same time knowing it’s about to come to life, but I also know that I represented myself well, gave it my all and though it’ll be honestly so weird to see myself on tv, I’m so excited that I can share this now, after waiting an entire year.

Buckle up.
This season is about to shake things up.
